NEW RELEASES

Spring, more than any other season, makes time feel fleeting. Every few days there are new changes. The last snow in the woods and ice on the lake surrender to leaf-out. Pastel green for the aspens, yellow-green for the sugar maples, and many hues of vermillion and violet for the red maple buds. Trout lilies, trilliums, and fiddleheads emerge from the forest floor, and birdsong returns. Blackflies are starting up and en plein air sketching will be on hold, for now.
